CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 1986 YA KECHI? (What is Consumer Protection Act of 1986?)

(The right to be informed about the quality, quantity, potency, purity, standard and price of goods (or services as the case may be) so as to protect the consumer againstunfair trade practices)

Defective Goods section 2 (1) (f): Section 2 (1) (f) Consumer Act, 1986 nung “Defective Goods” tetezü tarak aketba. Iba tetezü nung rateta zülua alibaji;
(a) Tai  (fault)  (b) Shitak masüba/meperiba (imperfection) aser (c) Mapensa (Shortcoming) Item asem adokdaktsübaji (i) Tajung (quality) masüba   (ii) Züngdangba (quantity) nung mapensa (iii) Tashi (Potency) maliba (iv) Temerük (Purity) maliba aser Tasadangba (Standard) maketba Tzünglu mopung agi oset aser chiyungtsü menena aliba ayoktsüsa kümra itemji lijaliyongertemi metettsü temeten lir. Anungji, yokjayokrartemi menena aliba chiyungtsü (deteriorated goods and food items) mapang tasazük süir aliba osettem (expired goods) aser jangotsü balala meyokteper (adulterated rice) mayoktsüla.

(i) Chiyungtsü aser oset nung teraksa putetba aser ngutetbatem indoker tajung agi melendaktsütsü temeten.
(ii) Chiyungtsü aser oset alibatem ajak tajung agi melentsütsü temeten lir
(iii) Taliba jenjang (price of the goods) mesüra  mapa inyakdaktsütsü atema taa agütsüba meyipa agitsü temeten lir.

Iba ozüng nung shia aliba ya shibai chiyungtsü aser tajemtsü menena/meyoktepa yokdir, pa/la temerenshi ita terok (six months) tashi tepuokdak ayutsü mesüra senchi sen Rs. 1000/ alitsü, aji mesüra temerenshi anaprong külemi agütsütsü.
